Coya Dubai’s Members Club Renovated

You might not think that one of the most exclusive member clubs in Dubai forms part of a deluxe global Peruvian restaurant chain, but it does. The Coya Dubai is one of the most sought after memberships in the whole of the United Arab Emirates and it is not that easy to get into.

The club is so popular that it was just refurbished and renovated to take it up a notch higher, making anyone present feel like they are still exploring the Andes mountains in the 1930s. Big sturdy leather chairs, cigars, traditional Peruvian delicacies, wine, music, and art are all in abundance at this beautifully renovated venue.

It first opened in 2004, at the Four Seasons Resort, Jumeirah Beach Road, Jumeirah 2. It was renovated in January 2017 and has now opened its doors to its members. The decor has changed from being neo-modern to a more classic look. Big red drapes cover the windows and vintage chandeliers hang from the ceilings. The walls have been painted with cream colour, decorated with gold leaf, while the ceiling is a work of pattern art that needs to be seen to be believed. The cutlery and wine glasses are vintage from a bygone era. In short, you are transported back in time, when locomotives and trekking were the only way to get to the far reaches of Peru to explore ziggurats, pyramids and ancient tombs of indigenous people.

Benefits of being a member includes access to other global lounges at other branches of Coya around the world. There is also a separate menu for members, with special dishes, premium wines, and rare cigars. Current members can recommend others to become a member and all applications are reviewed by a membership committee. The experience that can be enjoyed within the club is well worth the application process.
